Singer-songwriter Karen Larson has spent a lifetime creating vocal harmonies, starting with big musical family gatherings around two pianos at her childhood home. Larson, who started writing songs in junior high, studied classical voice at the University of Rhode Island and performed in a vocal jazz group. She has taught piano lessons and today she plays guitar, writes songs and sings with the Seacoast New Hampshire folk trio Bliss. Bliss came together in 2007 to open for The Commitments on St. Patrick’s Day in Exeter, NH. The band performs an uplifting and soulful mix of melodies at venues and festivals across New England.
